4K

I've been thinking about getting a 4k TV. I got my current 48", non-4k one on eBay for $90 two years ago, and it's been great.

All of my movies are digital on Google Play. I like the far less amount of clutter now than I had with DVDs and some Blu-Rays. Very rarely are there connectivity issues between my desktop and the Chromecast I use, unless my cat f*cks it up (He likes to relax on wires).

I bought my first 4k Ultra show on Google Play last week (War Dogs), because it was on-sale for $7.99 compared to $29.99. Also, I really like the movie.

BUT! I just logged into my Google Play app and found this.... (pictured). I always wondered how they would handle movies previously purchased on legacy formats. I guess that if you bought the highest format at the time then you will get upgrades as higher formats roll-out, assuming there will be higher and higher formats than 4k. But, idk.

Regardless, since 4k versions sell for $20 more a piece than HD versions, I just gained $440 of value in my life. HOORAY!

Now, I just need a 4k TV... Black Friday??

Calling All Pet Detectives in Louisville

I love the movie Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

- "Yes, Satan? OH. I thought you were someone else" hahahaha. Love that

This is a lost dog. The reward is $1,000. Happy hunting.

Bradley Cooper and Eddie Vedder

I thought that Bradley Cooper looked like and sounded vocally like Eddie Vedder in A Star is Born. Also, the songs Cooper performed sounded a lot like Pearl Jam and a bit like Soundgarden. That would make sense, as Cooper was a part of the "Grunge" generation and Chris Cornell of Soundgarden recently committed suicide.

The Bourne Identity

Really good flick. A little slow. But, then, I think the rest of the Bournes (but, not The Bourne Legacy) are a bit too fast. They get faster, and faster. By "Jason Bourne" it's so fast that it almost works - if that makes sence... and, I guess it doesn't :). But, I still think movies with background are the best. Action is best at the theater. I like background stories, character-developments, and drama at home.
Also, Her 30's haven't been so kind to beautifully baby-faced Julia Stiles who has a very high-level security clearance here in "Identity" in the actress's early 20's.

Bacon, and Bean (!)

I love Saturdays. Who doesn't? I don't have standard weekends off, because of my job and sports cards project. But, I'm taking a break from both (and, by "break", I mean I don't have to go to the gas station for my wonderful part-time job and am merely working at sports cards at 55% of my full capacity which is stil at about 135% of most.
But, we got food, good weather, and good entertainment!
