David Price

Price showed His stuff and competitive nature last night in Game 2 of the 2018 MLB World Series at home in Boston, MA. I don't think He'll make it to the MLB Hall of fame in Cooperstown, NY; but, He has a bit of a chance if He stays healthy and His best years are yet to come.

Walker Buehler is set to go for the Dodgers in Los Angeles for Game 3. I'm expecting the same or better perfromance from Him.

David's antics with Dennis Eckersley aside, I'm proud of these two Vanderbilt Baseball guys.

Dodgers vs. Brewers, Game 7 2018 NLDS
  - Walker Buehler is in control of the game, but the Dodgers just have a one-run cushion
- Buehler is usually in-control through five innings; it will be very interesting to watch the decision to keep Him in or take Him out if a bit of adversity shows up in the sixth inning; I would think that they would get Him out quickly in the seventh

Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky (NCAA Football)
  - It's 7 - 7 with Vandy with the ball in Red Zone at the top of the 4th Quarter; ESPN's game predictor has Vanderbilt at 46.7% (I have no idea how they run that predictor - it's either a genius use of sports statistics or it's dumb)
- Kentucky has not gotten a lot of close calls on penalties; the fans are livid; I have to think that if players and staff start thinking that the refs are "against them" rather than taking ownership of their plays then it instills a sense of helplessness and reduces performance.
